One Thousand Pots, One Thousand Thoughts

An installation by London-based artist and ceramicist Yozo Hirayama to commemorate the anniversary of the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami of March 11, 2011. Made over the past year, the pots – each is crafted in Hirayama's palm – are a marker and a memory of those who died in the disaster.
