Rebecca Davies, who travels the country collecting English folk traditions in her Beau Belle's Ice Cream Van, is at the museum for families to drop by and share a story for her book of illustrations (daily 11am-4pm), or take part in an art workshop to invent the best ice cream in the universe and decorate a waffle cone hat (daily 2.30-3.30pm). On April 7 (noon-4pm), you can see a display of the stories and art collected over the week, take part in maypole dancing and listen to music from the Walnut Whips. The day also promises zany activities with the titular citrus fruit.
