Penny Dale: 25 Years of 'Ten in the Bed'

An exhibition of the original drawings, works-in-progress and final 'Ten in the Bed' books by British children's author and illustrator Penny Dale. Based on the nursery rhyme, the first 'Ten in the Bed' book was published a quarter of a century ago, leading to a 'Ten…' adventure series – a fact that The Illustration Cupboard is celebrating. Dale will also be around to sign copies of a special, twenty-fifth anniversary edition on August 10 at the gallery.
