Rooftops during the summer months are an excellent idea in theory, but the reality of British summer often (literally) rains all over our al-fresco parade. Enter Pergola Brixton. The newest edition of the Pergola brand (which has previously had venues in Paddington and Canary Wharf) will be opening its doors on May 4, Bank Holiday Saturday. There’ll be food platters, happy hours, £5 margs on Thursdays and DJs on Fridays, and even Bottomless Brunches on Saturdays. The venue is covered in murals, dripping in tropical plants, but the best part? The retractable roof terrace, so you can actually catch some rays when the sun actually arrives.
