This independent photography resource centre located in Brixton houses a photographic studio, dark rooms, digital suits, a picture agency and a contemporary gallery. They regularly run courses for beginners and professionals alike including portraiture master classes, an introduction to location lighting and a hands-on street photography workshop. There’s also plenty of instruction available on what to do once you’ve clicked the shutter with Photoshop and Lightroom courses, darkroom and printing workshops and one-to-one portfolio reviews. If you’re looking for something a little different they run alternative process classes, so you can learn some of the earliest imaging techniques like salt printing and using liquid light, or how to make your own pinhole camera.
