This double bill of events marks 350 years since the Black Death killed a fifth of London's population. Discover Medical London are filling the afternoon with a study tour, 'Path-ologies: A capital's contagious geography'. The four-hour event will reveal how central Lonodn was affected by the infection and will teach the history of contagious disease in the capital. The Royal College of Physicians' event, 'This Calamitous year: plague doctors and death', includes lectures on the great plague, how physicians dealt with it and what London did with all the bodies. Tickets are £10 and include a glass of wine; book in advance on the Royal College of Physicians website.
