Legendary punk rocker Poly Styrene is getting a retrospective at 198 Gallery, as well as a whole day's worth of events devoted to her legacy. Therell be a punk songwriting workshop with Celeste Bell, a 'stitch and bitch' with Rita Keegan fan-zine art lab with Killing Joke singer Youth, and a legacy panel on the woman herself from fans, friends and comrades. rounds off with a tribute gig, featuring music from Art Trip and the Static Sound, Screaming Toenail and Big Joanie. There'll also be food from the Hare Krishna Temple, and beer by Lagunitas.
