Muji presents a display that, one year on from the Japanese earthquake and tsunami and prompted by damaged power plants in the country, looks at what would happen if we used 20 per cent less in terms of materials and energy to make products. Exhibits look at the process of making products in more efficient ways and the role of the consumer in customising, re-using and recycling products in order to reduce energy consumption. Visitors with a valid Muji receipt or flyer (available in Muji stores) gain free entry to the museum.
