Back with a bang following a three-year hiatus, the Protein Block Party is filling Shoreditch with a healthy dose of food, fun and creative shenanigans. The street party spills out from Protein HQ, with New Inn Yard hosting grub gurus Nanny Bills and Bel-Air, Radar Radio soundtracking proceedings and a cracking bunch of makers and shakers ready to get your creative juices flowing. Hato Press will be running zine-making workshops, Make-Ready will be pulling screen prints and there’ll be disco yoga and ‘Beyoncé Barre’ with neighbouring fitness studio Frame. The best bit is that it’s all for a good cause. The profits, including money raised from auctioning off customised ping pong bats and jazzy totem poles, will go to Amnesty International – Protein’s next-door neighbours. Find out more here.
