Putin's Progress

On the eve of the Russian presidential elections, a day of documentaries about Vladimir Putin and Russia in the twenty-first century. The films are: 'Putin: The Leap Year', a portrait of Putin made at the beginning of his presidency in 2001; 'Khodorkovsky', charting the rise and fall of Russian oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky; 'Our Newspaper', a story of independent journalism in rural Russia; and a preview of 'Putin's Kiss', looking at Moscow's Nashi youth movement. The screenings will be accompanied by panel sessions and discussions.
