We’re big fans of Richard Forbes’ north London choir group. Not only do they welcome anyone that wants to have a warble, their inclusive attitude absolutely extends to the audience, too. And what does that mean? Well, don’t be surprised to find yourself busting out some vocals too, because their gigs usually turn into inhibition-hurling sing-along sessions. They’re a lot of fun.
Their next one looks like it’s going to be another banger, taking a glorious trip down memory lane filled with more than a dose or two of sweet ‘90s nostalgia. And who doesn’t fancy a bit of that right now? Expect a set chock-full of seriously uplifting choral takes on everyone from Nirvana and Spice Girls to Oasis, Jamiroquai and Backstreet Boys, with accompaniment from a (very decent) live band. As we say, we’re big fans. In fact, we’ll probably see you down there.
