Time Out says

Regent Street’s beautiful, glowing angels are some of the very best Christmas lights in London – it was also the very first road in London to be lit up with Christmas lights back in 1954. Now, you can see them in all their gleaming glory as Regent Street goes traffic-free for one day only. To celebrate the thoroughfare being completely pedestrianised for the first time since 2020, there’ll be extra-special shopping experiences and seasonal celebrations. Hop on board three vintage, red buses parked along the street’s iconic Curve. One will let you take close-up pictures of the lights, another will be filled with disco lights, DJs and choirs hosted by charity Choose Love, and the third will have wreath-making workshops and other Christmas crafts (book in advance). There’ll also be a free gift wrapping service (show your receipt from one of the shops on the street). On top of that, look out for in-store events, special offers and prizes.
