Rio Carnaval at Guanabara

It may be winter outside, but in Guanabara it's time to don some skimpy, colourful clothing and shake it in tribute to Rio's biggest, brightest party. As a warm up for their week of Brazilian fun the London School of Samba will lead a carnival parade through Covent Garden. Setting off from Henrietta Street at 6.15pm, the performers will party their way to Guanabara for more drumming, Latin dance from Samara Reis & Co, Latin percussion, bongos, congas and drums from Basil and Brazilian beats from DJ Limao. Oh, and absolutely loads of caipirinhas.
