This clever, highly entertaining escape game opens with you being taken into a film studio, told that the last person to spend a night in there mysteriously vanished and then begged to help recover them.

The puzzles are lots of fun – using the room inventively and letting you play with some genuinely cool bits of gear – and they’ve given genuine thought to the narrative of the game too, with at least one twist guaranteed to astonish you.

This is the sort of escape game that could only have been made a few years into the genre’s lifespan: cleverly subverting a few of the usual tropes in a way that has the potential to cheekily wrongfoot seasoned players.

It’s also a tad trickier than a lot of games – they claim that there’s only a 50 percent success rate. We’re not sure it was quite as hard as that, but we’re certain of one thing: it’s our favourite escape game we’ve played in a while. Alexi Duggins
