Covent Garden's spiderweb of a junction, Seven Dials, plays host to a bevvy of entertainment on Saturday August 16. For the first time ever the area, which is already heaving with restaurants and boutiques, will have an open-air stage plonked in the centre. There you'll find performances by flashmobsters Pineapple Dance Studios, the Tristan Bates Theatre, comedian Ian Stone and the London Brass All-Stars. The roads will be closed off to make way for Sol Cinema, the world's smallest solar-powered mobile movie outfit, street art by London Graphic, a literary salon hosted by playwright and columnist Damian Barr and much more. Alongside the outdoor activity, shops will be offering special discounts and in-store entertainment.
