A free walk tracking Shakespeare and his King's Men acting company as they transfer across the river to the West End (of the City of London). Find the old Blackfriars theatre site and the priory gatehouse bought by the now rich-playwright, visit pubs and other buildings known by the Bard, and stand near the site of his Silver Street lodgings. The walk begins outside Tate Modern, at the nearest door to the Millenium Bridge, and ends at the Museum of London, talking about 60-90 minutes.
