Shakespeare's Birthday

This day of family-friendly events celebrating the bard's 451st birthday takes on a Hamlet theme. Actors who have played Hamlet through the ages will take to the stage as part of an attempt to deliver the fastest ever reading of the play and famous film versions will be screened around the site. Fun and games on offer include an Elsinore bouncy castle, sword-fighting demonstrations, skull coconut shies and a grave-digging ball pool. The event is free and no booking is required.
