Shark Weeks

Among all the piranhas, turtles, tropical fish, rays, crabs and jellyfish at the London Aquarium, the sharks are still the main attraction. For two weeks visitors can learn more about these fascinating (and terrifying) creatures from mix of interactive talks, activities and face-to-fin encounters. Super shark fans can get up close and personal and snorkel with the shark on the VIP experience (£125). For those who don't fancy taking the plunge, Sharkey the big blue cuddly shark will be making personal appearances. The attraction is also launching their new Shark Watch initiative, which invites visitors to observe the aquarium's black tipped reef sharks and note down any mating behaviour.
