Emerging from the ashes of what has been a tricky year for cinema is the return of this glorious independent film festival. The programme of this January event features more than 50 films, including some exciting directorial debuts and features by award-winning stars: think the likes of Tom Holland and Lindsey Duncan. After a weekend of panel discussions, workshops and, of course, live screenings, the festival culminates in a fantastic award ceremony, recognising the best student film, the environmental impact award, and everything in between. Oh, and there's a custom cocktail inspired by the Bramble, available from the newly opened TWELFTH bar at 75 Dean Street — yum.
