From rising stars to classic albums, here are five soundtracks for your summer. Free to stream with Go Binge on Three, Deezer is like having an older sibling with great musical taste, or a mate who just always seems to be playing something amazing you’ve never heard before when he gives you a lift in his car. Deezer's Flow feature will give you the music you want to hear but also point you in the right direction for other good things that might float your boat too, from old classics to brand new talent.

A streaming platform with premium and free-to-access subscription plans, Deezer has created a range of features to share its passion for music, including Deezer Next, which spots the likes of Rag ’n’ Bone Man ahead of the pack, and Deezer Flow, its personal soundtrack feature. And because Go Binge with Three lets you spend as much time as you like on Deezer, without using your data, you can enjoy whatever you want to hear – from the two-minute punk classic to the longest new-psychedelic wig out.

Arcade Fire ‘Everything Now’

Win Butler, Regine Chassange and their rag-tag clan of Canadian alt-rockers have pulled off what has to be one of the summer’s smartest pop anthems – the title track to their new album, ‘Everything Now’. All Abba-esque hooks and big-sky production, it’s turning out to be 2017’s ‘Get Lucky’. No surprise then, that Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter appears in the production credits.

TLC ‘CrazySexyCool’

While the world waits for Puff Daddy to finally push out his promised ‘No Way Out 2’, let’s enjoy the return of female rap’s greatest group success. The first single of their fifth and final studio album, ‘TLC’ has already shown they’ve still got R&B class, but it seems a pretty good excuse to revisit this crisp classic from 1994. Yes, 1994! Hard to imagine, when ‘Waterfalls’ feels as fresh and invigorating as ever.

Pink Floyd ‘Dark Side of the Moon’

Pink Floyd ‘Dark Side of the Moon’

The V&A’s current walk-through exhibition of Pink Floyd’s iconic album artwork, band ephemera and the evolution of a sound that still influences rock and ambient music today is the perfect prompt to immerse yourself in a timeless classic. But when you’re done, don’t forget to set aside 13 minutes to enjoy ‘Shine on You Crazy Diamond (Parts I-IX)’ from ‘Wish Your Were Here’ too.

If you want that open-top-car-pop experience this summer, then go for the comeback album from everyone’s favourite feisty chart goddess. On the surface there’s plenty of dancebeats and catchy hooks, but the more topical lyrical themes give the songs depth when you want to come back again and again. If ‘Chained to the Rhythm’ doesn’t get your hips moving, you must be asleep.

Any good Radiohead playlists

Twenty years on from a Glastonbury set beset by so many tech disasters Thom Yorke nearly walked off stage, the band’s Friday night headline slot set the bar high not only for the Foo Fighters et al following over the weekend, but all festival performances this summer. It also reminded us all how great it feels to get inside the soaring indie pain of a Radiohead classic once in a while.
