Celebrate British Science week at this one-off Space Festival taking place in conjunction with the ‘Run the Solar System 10k Race’. If you’re feeling fit, register here for the race (£15) which gives entrants an audio tour of the solar system as they run. Or if you don’t fancy breaking into a sweat, see astrophotography from The Flamsteed Astronomical Society, a Sokol spacesuit and part of a real space-ship from The British Interplanetary Society and try your hand at decorating solar space-cookies and drawing your own planet with the British Science Association at the ‘race village’ space fest.
