Find out how what we see, smell, touch and even hear can affect the way food tastes at these special weekend events in Kew Gardens. Visitors will take a 'supertaster' test to find out whether they've got extra-sensitive tastebuds, learn the science behind kitchen staples such as ginger, mustard and black pepper and see the ingredients growing in Kew's tropical greenhouses. There'll also be a chilli display, botanical illustrations of spices, a fine food pop-up shop and guided tours as part of the Full of Spice Festival.
