This afternoon of family-friendly horror is to held in the Queen's House, part of the Royal Museums Greenwich site. The Inigo Jones-designed building has a fabulously Potter-esque spiral staircase and big square hall, with echoey balconies above, which will doubtless be put to good use in a variety of spooky activities including ghoulish mask-making, spine-chilling ghost stories and a Halloween dance. There are prizes for the scariest costumes, too.
