St Patrick’s Day at The Sun Tavern

As the proud owners of London’s largest selection of Irish whiskey and the world’s largest collection of Poitín, you can always count on The Sun Tavern to put on a fitting tribute to Ireland’s patron saint. This year, the festivities will start at midday with a live Cèilidh band to get things warmed up. The bar has curated a special lineup of £9 whiskey cocktails for the day, including one made with chestnut and Kerrygold Irish Butter and another with Irish raspberry wine, elderflower and ginger beer. In the evening, seafood specialists Oyster Boy will be around serving molluscs on the house. That’ll all be accompanied by a DJ set from Drew McConnell of Babyshambles (and Liam Gallagher’s backing band) carrying the celebrations into the early hours.
