Time Out says

Take a trip out to Hertfordshire from north west London on this most romantic of transport options to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Chesham branch of the Metropolitan Line. Steam trains more than a century old will take passengers between Wembley Park, Rickmansworth, Chesham and Harrow-on-the-Hill, giving them a feel for the areas  – once known as 'Metro-land' – that were built in the early twentieth century to be served by the new Metropolitan Railway. See the London Transport Museum's website for more information and to book tickets.
