Interesting concept and something different to do over the weekend.

Event consists of stages with different speakers and lots of stands promoting different brands. I liked the variety of healthy food brands that offered samples and promoters gave you more details about the background of the brand.
There was a brilliant talk ‘How to be Happy’’, one of the speakers was bubbly Melissa Hemsley, that was probably one of the talks that attracted the most attention.
Big minus was the way food court was organised. It was a perfect opportunity to promote new street food vendors, offer unique dining options, but instead there was only 3 vendors, and cues for them were ridiculous.
If you are going to the next event, make sure you go with a girlfriend or two, as this is meant to be girly day out, we felt bad for few boyfriends and husbands that were dragged there and looked quite unimpressed.

Great idea for an event and reasonably priced tickets for the silver it was £20 and this included entry, free gin drink and a manicure.

The manicure wasn't great but I guess for how cheap it was, I can't complain too much!

Some really lovely stalls there and enjoyed the food section where you could try some freebies. There were a little too many samey jewellery stalls which were quite expensive and the food bars ran out of a lot of food by the time we got to them so there was a limited food selection on offer.

Overall, I enjoyed the fashion show and was a fun day out.

Edith Bowman and Dawn O’Porter hosted a four-day festival of cocktails, culture, catwalks and conversation at The Business Design Centre in Angel from Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th October 2015. A friend and I booked £25 full-day tickets for the Sunday, which gave us access to the main floor, culture lounge, learning labs and seats at one of the catwalk shows.

As soon as we arrived, we were offered the complimentary cloakroom, given free material bags (perfectly timed with the recent 5p bag charge) and vouchers for a glass of bubbles! The centre was emblazoned with Stylist artwork and the main floor was full of pop-ups of well-established brands and new boutiques, all offering samples, treatments, discounts.

Our favourite was the Swarovski stand that had a unique photo booth where you wore a selected piece of Swarovski jewelry in a 7 second video that was printed into a photo flip book! Moreover, there were free bags with gorgeous Swarovski crystal compact mirrors and £10 off vouchers for anything bought that day…we both gleefully walked away with beautiful new pendants!

We walked around all the stalls, but sadly didn’t make it to any of the scheduled events in the culture lounge or learning labs as the queues started early and were quite large. I would have loved to have gone to The Meringue Girls learning lab to make edible flower lollipops or watch Hemsley + Hemsley demonstrate their popular recipes. We did, however, have reserved spots for one of the catwalks, which really was the highlight of the day! We managed to get front row seats to see the 5 main trends of Autumn Winter 2015: Sweet & Sour, Supercharged Tweed, Period Drama, Décor Dressing and 80s Glam. I absolutely loved it! Overall, it was an exciting day and we left with some new wardrobe ideas to go with our new jewellery! I would go back next year, where hopefully there might be more stalls and more spaces in the learning labs.

Great event run by Stylist at the Business Design Centre in Angel. We booked tickets in advance to see Nigella Lawson's interview but also managed to catch a couple of the learning labs as well - a run down on how to invest in art and the absolute highlight, a demonstration by Roka on the many things you can do with a gargantuan yellow fin tuna! The learning labs were crowded and the high demand for each session meant that you had to queue for fairly long periods of time before the session. A lot of people were disappointed as they were turned away often 45 minutes before the start of the session as the queue was already full. We lucked out in the Roka though and ended up in the front row where we had first dibs on tasting the amazing sushi, tataki, sashimi, tartar, etc... that the fabulous chefs were producing. Other highlights of the day were the VIP lounge with lots of amazing food and drink freebies, make up and hair sessions (also available on the main floor as well but with a longer queue) and free massages, the free catwalk show showing A/W 2015 pick of trends and the numerous stalls set up in the middle of the hall with beautiful clothes, crafts and health and beauty items, as well as some wonderful vermouth! A very busy day full of fun and although it's over for this time, I'd certainly recommend getting tickets to the next event.
