Hackney is to craft beer as sunny picnics are to Pimm's, so this three-day festival bringing together 11 of London's finest independent brewers (and one Scottish cider specialist) will no doubt go down a treat. More than 30 ales, craft beers and ciders will be available on tap from the likes of Crate Brewery, Five Points, Late Kinghts and Hop Stuff. Day sessions will be geared towards beer geeks, with talks on raw materials, recipes and starting your own brewery from some industry experts. Those who prefer drinking beer to talking about it should sign up for one of the evening sessions, which feature live folk music to compliment your bevvies. Tickets include a souvenir glass and 15 tokens for 1/3 pint tasters, and food stalls will be available to make sure the booze doesn't get the better of you.
