Summer Holiday Family Events at the Whitechapel

The gallery's ever-original programme of family events runs throughout the summer holidays, with a family day on Aug 10 in which children can learn to make a clay pot with Viktoria Redman, join an interactive workshop with architects and urbran growers Wayward Plants, and view animated shorts. There's a free family trail too. On Aug 17, an Urban Ecology Bird Stroll offers youngsters the chance to learn all about the local birds, with birding expert David Darell-Lambert.
