The Sunday service that bills itself as 'the godless congregation for people who want to live better, help often and wonder more' will bring a heap of joy to Conway Hall with the help of their house band and choir. Gather to hear the engaging speaker and be surround by secular positivity.

I’ve always been curious about Sunday Assembly is something I had read about a while back, it sounded great and it is only recently I decided to really check this out. This for sure one of the more unusual activities to do in London but something that has a great ethos behind it. This is purely funded by donations allowing it be accessible for all who wish to attend.

Background is started by two comedians Sanderson Jones and Pippa Evans this is all about community spirit and in my opinion really evokes the true essence of what living in London is all about and should be. They wanted to 'start something like church but inclusive to all and totally secular despite whatever beliefs you have'.  However this appeals to everyone and extremely welcoming. Their motto is simple: To help often, Wonder more, Live better. Set on the first and third sundays of every month, expect lots of singing, ('cos its good for the soul you know), speakers of fascinating topics for you to learn better, to inspire you in life, poems of the day, life changing stories from members of the community and moment for reflection. They have so many events going on help achieve your goals and live better and meet with other members of the community and this concept has proved so popular that it has spread all over the UK and to other parts of the world too. The London group suitably takes place in Conway Hall, well known for its ethical society and humanist ideals, lectures and concerts. This in my opinion is a great and different way to start off your Sunday, you need to be open minded but you’ll come away feeling energised on a high with good vibes and ready to grab life with both hands and to me that can’t be a bad thing.
