Sunrise Swim

On Sunday October 4th brave swimmers will gather in the dark at London Fields Lido, ready to take the plunge as the sun rises at 7.06am. The idea behind this chilly fundraiser is to swim 3,850m to represent the £3,850 cost of a day of hospice care at Haven House, a hospice that supports families and cares for children with limiting and life-threating conditions. Participants must be over 16 to enter and can take on the 77 length challenge on their own or as part of a team. There is no minimum sponsorship to take part; the £10 entry includes a hot drink and a breakfast snack to warm swimmers up once they've braved the waters. You can complete a registration from in advance here  and there will also be limited spaces available on the day.
