The government's consultation with the public regarding the law to make it easier for trans people to have their gender legally recognised through the Gender Recognition Act ends on Fri Oct 19. VICE and Stonewall have teamed up to the create the Recognise Me campaign, urging anybody who cares about trans rights to complete the consultation form. Join others and submit your response at Rye Wax between 5pm-9pm where Chicago based multimedia artist Jill Lloyd Flanagan will also be performing (Thu Oct 18), or between 2pm-9pm at Emily’s Bar in Dalston (Fri Oct 19).
