Like tea? Like craft? You'll definitely like this creative joint in Camden. Since it was set up in 2009 Tea & Craft has been teaching Londoners to knit, sew, crochet, embroider and much more. The classes are offered as one-off, drop-in sessions for beginners, as well as courses for those who want to learn a lot more. All materials are included, so all you have to do is pay and turn up.
So successful are these tea-fuelled workshops, that Tea & Craft now run private sessions, too, for hen parties, baby showers and corporate events, as well as afternoon tea birthday parties.

I recently organised a baby shower for my friend. Jane was a pleasure to deal with and made the whole process really easy. The guys over at Tea and Crafting even designed a personalised invitation for me to give to everyone too. The Baby Shower was lovely - our teacher, Anna, was really friendly and so helpful too. We made the cutest babygros and bibs all in different sizes so the mummy to be had a mini wardrobe of clothes to take home with her that afternoon. I would really recommend this craft sanctuary for anyone looking to celebrate any occasion!
My friend and I recently did the beginners knitting workshop at Tea & Crafting and we had a great time. Vanessa, the tutor was really patient with us all and in 2.5 hours I learnt how to knit! Plus we got given tea and cake to eat whilst knitting! I liked that we got to keep our needles and a ball of wool so I carried on knitting on the way home. I really recommend Tea and Crafting and I'm looking forward to trying their beginners crochet class next!
I recently held a baby shower at Tea & Crafting for my sister and it was the best decision! I really wanted to find something a bit different and this was the perfect thing for her as she loves her crafting! The session was led by a lovely lady called Anna and she helped everyone along in making their creations (personalized bibs and babygros). Everyone had an amazing time (and learnt a new skill!). Jane and her team are very helpful and accommodating and we were able to make the space our own for the time we were there. I'd recommend this place to everyone (crafty and non-crafty alike) looking to hold a memorable event!
I just wanted to drop you a note to say thanks so much. The pearl bracelet making session for Helen’s hen was great fun and Lauren was a wonderful host. Helen loved it!
Attended a beginners sewing class this morning. As i had never used a sewing machine was a bit apprehensive and doubtful that i could achieve anything good! How mistaken I was . The teacher Lauren was patient with us and I am now the proud owner of a tote bag which i made!!! Amazing! The studio is lovely and I liked the idea of having tea and cake while crafting. It was certainly well spent Sunday morning. Would recommend to anybody
I've been to a few classes at Tea & Crafting, learned knitting, crochet and even managed to sew a skirt in a half day dressmaking workshop! It is a beautiful venue, very inspiring and welcoming. Knowledgeable teachers and very friendly too. Couldn't recommend it more! Besides they offer you tea/coffee and cakes while crafting. It's the perfect crafts heaven in London!
Had a wonderful time. Excellent teacher as I am not a particularly crafty person! Lovely to have a finished product. Everyone enjoyed making something and having fun! X
Went to Tea&Crafting last week for a baby shower which was arranged for me as a surprise and the day was perfect. We made a beautiful baby blanket in under 3 hours and played games. Thank you to Jane for making such a special and memorable day for me and my friends.
