This competition is a prize draw.

All people who add a comment with a star rating to a Time Out restaurant review or event listing for the duration of the promotion will be automatically entered into the draw.

Please note that comments left on other page types, e.g features and film reviews, will not be entered into the draw. Event listings are only valid when the event has begun. To be sure, if the page you are viewing doesn't have a 'Win an iPad' promotional image on it, comments left on that page are not eligable for the draw.

To be entered into the draw comments must be legitimate and relavent to the page they are left on - i.e not spam or nonsensical combinations of characters. Ultimately, whether a comment is considered legitimate or not is at the discretion of Time Out.

Star ratings left on restaurant reviews and event listings are not considered valid comments by themselves. Only comments accompanied by a star rating are valid.

At the end of the promotion the winner picked at random from all the valid comments. Only one comment per person will be considered - multiple comments will not increase your chance of winning.

Time Out will use the user's email address, given at the time of commenting, to notify them within two weeks of the closing date. It is therefore important that you leave a correct email address when leaving a comment on Time Out.

In the event that the winner cannot be contacted, or declines the prize, another winner will be chosen at random from the database.

This competition is open until midnight on July 31, 2011. All comments submitted after this time will not be considered for the prize draw.

The prize is be one 16GB iPad with Wi-fi. No cash alternatives will be given. However the promoter has the full and free right to alter arrangements or prize should circumstances change.

This competitions is open to all UK residents except employees of Time Out.

The name of the prizewinner will be made available to those who send an SAE to Time Out's address. The decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

All entrants to competitions and offers are deemed to have accepted these rules and agreed to be bound by them and agree to co-operate in any publicity that may arise.

By leaving a comment on the eligable pages on Time Out you agree to these terms and conditions.
