Thames Festival 2012: Lower Reach Sounding

Artist Richard Wilson presents a water-bound performance for the Thames Festival, using the 17 air and mechanical horns, as well as a chattering plumage of signal flags, on board Cultureship De Walvisch (The Whale). The boat will 'sing' her own sea shanty, calling to the Thames and riverside architecture from her base at Hermitage Community Moorings to Trinity Buoy Wharf, through Tower Bridge and into the Pool of London.
