Thames Festival 2012: Night Carnival

The Night Carnival illuminated parade features around 1,500 dancers, drummers, lantern-carriers and costumed masqueraders, with music, dance and carnival from, among many others, Emergency Exit Arts, Flamingo Carnival Arts, Kinetika Bloco, London School of Samba and Paddington Arts Mas Band. Starting at Upper Ground, behind the National Theatre, the carnival sets off at 7.15pm, heads north over Blackfriars Bridge, then turns left on to Victoria Embankment.
