Time Out says

Some 50 choirs from across the UK sing together to raise money for charity. The 'Sing for Water' programme features a varied, international repertoire of songs that make global connections through the theme of water. Roxane Smith and Helen Chadwick lead. 'Sing for Water' was initiated by Chadwick and the Thames Festival in 2002 to raise money for WaterAid. Over the last ten years, events around the UK have raised over half a million pounds for projects in India, Burkina Faso, Ghana and Malawi. Prior to the concert, some of the choirs will sing extracts from their own repertoires.
