Danish video artist Nikolaj Bendix Skyum Larsen weaves together fragments and traces of the people and places that define the character of the Thames. Commissioned for the festival, the work introduces the Thames watermen and lightermen, workers who have plied their trades along the river for generations, creating multiple self-contained vignettes on show daily at the Samsung site on the riverbank.
