The Artangel Longplayer Conversation 2013

As Longplayer continues to ding its randomised Tibetan prayer bells towards the next millennium at Trinity Buoy Wharf, the Longplayer Conversation enters its eighth year of 'bringing together eminent thinkers to talk about the philosophical implications of long time'. This year naturalist Richard Mabey - the man behind the epochal books 'Flora Britannica' and 'Birds Britannica' - and Richard Holloway - former Bishop of Edinburgh and now a self-proclaimed 'post-religionist' - look to extend a series of conversations that have included John Gray with James Lovelock and Doris Lessing with Laurie Anderson.
