Running from March 6-16 Discover's sixth annual festival of children's literature has a packed programme of story sessions, workshops, book signings and other events. Look forward to a session with creator of The Gruffalo Axel Scheffler (Saturday 8, 12pm), a draw-off between Korky Paul and Ros Asquith where you decide who wins (Saturday 8, 4.30pm), and a bid to create a number one hit in just one hour with Boogaloo Stu, culminating in a live lip-synch and flash mob dance performance (Sunday 9, 12pm 6+). Other events include shadow puppet and comic making workshops, a spotty dotty art installation for toddlers and talks for adults with advice on how to make money from writing and illustrating for children (March 13 6.30pm-8.30pm).
