An evening of talks centred around the murder in 1947 of Elizabeth Short, aka the Black Dahlia. Crime fiction writer and editor Steven Powell explores the continuing cultural depictions of the case, and Peter Vanezis OBE, Professor of Forensic Medical Sciences at Queen Mary, who has first hand experience of dismemberment cases, discusses three similar dismemberments, looking at the reasons behind them. There will also be a chance to view the specimens in this fantastic Grade II Listed Medical Museum. Unsurprisingly, it's strictly over-18s; book tickets at http://tinyurl.com/bartsdahlia.
