Time Out says

The Creative Dimension is a new initiative set up by Penny Bendall who lays claim to the impressive title of ceramics conservator to her royal maj. The aim of the project is to connect young talents with master craftsmen for regular tuition in fine hand skills (like music, language or sports lessons but with more gold leaf). These initial five-day summer courses will teach 14-16 year olds the basics of either gilding or parquetry with additional tuition from the Royal School of Drawing for all participants. Full bursaries are available for the courses for students who show particular aptitude. Telephone to book a place or look online for further information.
