The charity ActionAid is aiming to transform January 17, regarded as the most miserable day of the year, into 'Happy Monday', with gifts and acts of kindness. Aura artist Ian Doherty is on hand between 10am and 12noon to capture aura portraits; there are also space hoppers to play on, cup cakes to scoff, and sofas and wi-fi access in two heated bubbles in the square.
