The House of Holi

To mark India’s festival of colours, Cinnamon Kitchen’s special party-pod is coming back to Devonshire Square. The 12-day pop-up invites city workers to swap their ties and heels for protective suits before pelting each other with paint. No Indian festival is complete without a feast of delicious dishes, so Cinnamon Kitchen will be serving up a vibrant five-course Holi menu (£38 pp) and colourful cocktails from their pop-up bar. Timed pod sessions take place Monday to Friday 2pm-2.30pm, 4pm-4.30pm, 5pm–5.30pm, 6pm-6.30pm and 7pm-7.30pm and on Mar 7 and weekends, 12noon-12.30pm, then every hour until 7pm-7.30pm. Book tickets here.

House of Holi has returned to Cinnamon kitchen again, be prepared to get colourful and dirty! Luckily overall and shoe protectors are provided! You are give two bags of colours and you are free to do what ever you want with them, most people's bags finished in about 5-10 minutes! It's a bit pricey for what it is, but a unique experience! Be careful to avoid the eye area, and don't be afraid of your snot is a fun colour for about a week! Top tip Bring a change of clothes just in case!

The House of Holi pop up has again returned to Cinnamon Kitchen, and my what a fun and colourful experience it is! Be prepared to be covered from head to toe in vibrant paint... but don't worry overalls and shoe covers are provided as well as 2 pouches of powder paint (various colours to choose from!). Once you have fully covered your clothes (don't wear your best just in case!) you basically have 30 minutes of throwing paint at the walls, ceiling and each other. Be sparing with your paint as I ran out in the first 10 minutes! With friendly and fun staff, a beautiful location it is a definite must, sure to spread joy.
