Friendly, local, beautiful park looked after by a lively group. That's where u go for my twice weekly Pilates class and it's simply awesome!
never had anything but lovely smiles here, awesome egyptian looking dude (boss?) patched my 4-year old son's arm up. Son still refers to him as the "nice doctor". Coffee is perfectly acceptable, card payment, smiles, awesome park, what do you want? blood?
It is run by and for the community by staff and lots of local volunteers, it is totally inclusive and offers something for everyone including a welcoming cafe with interesting exhibitions and a variety of social events and classes.
The Hub is a fantastic example of a community getting together to make a better environment for all. A few years ago, this park was seen as a bleak scary place, now on a summers day it teems with people relaxing and having fun. At the centre of this is the Hub.
A fantastic, true community building, with a little something for everyone. Set in the middle of Tottenham's best kept secret, Lordship Recreation Ground, with playgrounds, cycle tracks, games areas, a lake, a river and skate park, plus lots of areas for wildlife spotting. The Hub offers a haven and warm welcome to everyone, as well as some great cakes and hot drinks
The Hub is a café and community centre in the heart of Tottenham's biggest park. It's owned and run by local people through a community co-operative. Loads of classes, events and great coffee by the lake, kids playground and model bike track.
