The Institute of Play

An installation by artist Colin Booth. Made from 3,000 wooden blocks, the work will evolve during the course of the exhibition to resemble a cityscape in the museum's main hall. Also on show are historical building blocks, as well as blocks for kids to play with. A trail around the museum links art, architecture and toys.
