The Roundhouse's festival of the spoken word returns with a packed line-up of slam poetry, readings and performances.
Camden's Roundhouse is hosting a jam-packed three-week festival that celebrates the power of the spoken work, in all its forms. This year's extended line-up boasts panel discussions, readings, performances, workshops and more, from some of the UK's most exciting wordsmiths.
Highlights include Debris Stevenson’s 'Dirtee Verse', a left field poetic reimagining of Dizzee Rascal’s hit album 'Boy In Da Corner'. Poet and battle rapper Mark Grist will team up with fellow poet Tim Clare for 'Only You Can Save Poetry'. And Sabrina Mahfouz's play 'With a Little Bit of Luck' is a crowd-pleasing, UK garage-tinged tall tale of a wild night out.
