This ten-week course is your chance to learn all the skills you'll need to take the picture book world by storm. Dr Karenanne Knight, a lecturer in illustration and creative writing, will talk through processes such as characterisation, fusing text and image, editing and creating a dummy book, while also covering practical information such as what's popular in the current market and how to approach a publisher or agent. The first session takes place on September 15 and the course ends on December 1. Register in advance.
