The Thin Veil of London

Part-walk, part-theatre, this event explores the mystical history of Holborn and Bloomsbury and celebrates folkloric writer Arthur Machen. Beginning at The Queen's Larder, the walk takes participants on a journey into what Machen called ‘the eternal beauty hidden beneath the crust of common and commonplace things,' with the help of some readings from Machen and Bacchanalian pleasures along the way. Suitable for those 14+.
