A showcase of the collections held by The Worshipful Company of Gardeners, a survivor from the medieval craft guilds which was first mentioned in City Corporation records in 1345. Expect to find plenty on the history of botany in the capital and London gardens and gardeners through the ages. On display are manuscripts, monographs and objects practical and ceremonial – including a twelve-foot-long silver spade.
Also look out for 'The Green Team: The gardeners who transform your city', a display of photographs about the City Gardens Team and the green spaces they tend.
