Time Out Easter Hunt

Time Out and Hidden City challenge you to solve a mystery Easter trail. Starting at the Wellcome Collection café, the hunt (which takes between two and four hours to complete) will have you exploring London at springtime – visiting blossom-filled gardens, seeing exhibitions and taking in city views, plus stopping at pubs and cafés en route as you solve a series of puzzles sent to you by text.

Successful teams will win a Divine Chocolate Easter Egg but if you're the fastest to complete this Easter mission, you'll be tucking in to a winner's breakfast at Hawksmoor.

There are also prizes for the most creative spring photo of your team. Visit www.inthehiddencity.com/easter to create your team; there are limited free places for Time Out readers with the code TIMEOUTEGGS.

Fantastic way to explore London in the spring. Lovely to walk through the parks, especially with a purpose! Terrifically clever clues, a hidden treasure. More optional breaks might be good but the lunch destination was excellent.

Ok, this was totally so much better than I expected. We had so much fun traipsing around London trying to complete clues in a timely manner whilst avoiding other participants! Seriously, how mad is it to try and 'outsmart' strangers to get to the next clue, yet that is what we did! We noticed people along the course and recognised them at various points and tried our best to 'out-do them'. And...we did, to a certain extent. We did a very respectable 2 hours and 27 mins ...just us two parents and two kids who did NOT drive us mad either! We all enjoyed it. We WILL do it again and we WILL recommend it!!! Well done In the Hidden City!!

This hunt was a lovely change to just spending Easter Bank Holiday looking out of the window and staring at the rain! It got us out and about in the Spring sunshine (which was a nice change to usual Bank Holiday weather!) exploring parts of London that we wouldn't normally go to. Well organised and thought out, will definitely do this again soon!

Excellent fun. Challenging enough to keep you thinking but not too difficult for the family to enjoy.

Brilliant fun - a great way to meander your way through the city with friends and enjoy a little bit of excitement every time you solve a clue. It's the right balance of being a bit of challenge but still accessible, and takes you through some very pretty parts of London. Plus it ends in a pub, naturally - by which time you will be very much up for a celebratory pint. I will certainly be booking into some of the other hunts this spring and summer.

We wondered whether this was a good idea for a chilly day... but what a great excuse to rediscovered parts of our new adopted city! Really recommended... especially for the competitor in you - a few treats to reward you!

We did the trail on Easter Saturday and just loved it! A great excuse to take a trail through some beautiful parts of London and the excitement of the chase and competition just the thing to allay relatives and keep kids excited! We'll do it again.

Totally brilliant. Not difficult at all but the right amount of challenge... Perfect fun and exploration for any group of avid explorers. Not suited probably for those who prefer their entertainment spoon-fed or chair-bound... But take a scarf and gloves!

Excellent good clean fun! Had a great time running round the city with friends and trying to stay ahead of the other teams - took us to places we hadn't been before too. The vibe at the end was great - we stayed at the last location for the rest of the day drinking with Easter bunnies! Wd definately recommend and have been on a few of the other trails as well. Take gloves and a hat though!

A seriously great way to spend a couple of hours in London doing something different. I discovered some brilliant new places and got to see some beautiful London classics from a new angle. I would recommend this to anyone. I had an excellent time, and I imagine it would be excellent with kids too, which is rare for London frankly. I would definitely recommend you wear sensible walking shoes though!

Not impressed. I booked this with the free code to try it out and it all seemed ok. I was unable to login and when I phoned up HiddenCity they told me I would have to pay. There was no indication that my free code had failed. I am not impressed at all. Not recommended.
